People always describe Vancouver as a place where you can snowboard in the mountain and ride your bike around the seawall in the afternoon, and that’s awesome if you like that sort of thing (I do, actually, but maybe not so much in the same day), but what’s even better is that you can have Belgian waffles for breakfast, Shawarma for lunch and then an authentic Thai curry for dinner. With so much quality ethnic cuisine available, it’s often possible to have such an international feast all on the same block.
Because I spend a fair bit of time eating and drinking my way around the city, and because I’ve missed having a regular blogging gig after leaving Beyond Robson, I’ve decided to start a new blog chronicling Vancouver’s ethnic restaurants. Have a look around and let me know what you think. If you’re looking for a lunch date and have a great restaurant recommendation, I may just be your girl.

Was good to meet you briefly at Tiki night. I blog about food at http://foodlikethat.com. I used to use 43 Places to mark down restaurants I’ve been too. Now there is a new app from ActiveState that lives in Facebook that’s kind of interesting: http://apps.facebook.com/eat-a-rama/
P.S. are you going to buy a domain for this site? Would be good to have one…

Nicely put together. I too eat my way around this city and focus on the service aspect.
We should talk…

Degan,
You *are* famous. Even Andrew Morrison dropped you a comment! (he’s never commented on mine - probably because we disagree on so many restaurants! hehehe)
I have read your reviews before and I think you’ve read some of mine. We totally should talk.

This is now my go-to blog when I’m trying to figure out where to eat. My blog is mostly about food, but I never know where to go.
Good stuff!
